TECNO Mobile Uganda has launched the new Camon 17 series in the market with the very first headliner being a Camon 17 with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and a Helio G85 Processor.
The device is estimated to be sold on a retail price of UGX 750,000 on authorized TECNO shops countrywide. Camon 17 is currently available for pre-order with a deposit of UGX 100,000.

The new Camon 17 brings a 90Hz display on a 6.6 inch phone. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. At the back there is a triple camera setup with the main sensor being a 48MP. At the front, there is a single cutout on the left which houses the 16MP camera. The phone runs on Android 11 with TECNO’s HiOS skin on top.
It is not yet clear whatever other devices will be part of the Camon 17 series. Looking at the Camon 16 series, we may see the following devices later on in Uganda:
