Gov’t Finally Reveals When Social Media Platforms Will Be Unblocked

The minister of Internal Affairs, Jeje Odongo, has emphasized that social media platforms in Uganda will remain blocked until they are no longer a threat to national security. Platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and WhatsApp were blocked in Uganda ahead of January 14th presidential election.
