MTN Uganda has warned the general public to beware of the promotion that has been and is still running on Social Media and over the Internet. The promotion is dubbed “MTN 122GB Data Grant for Covid”. The promotion claims that MTN is giving out 122GB to customers. And when you click on the link, you are then asked to fill out a form with personal information.
On a post made by MTN on their different official Social Media pages, they warned the public to disregard this promotion and never share any of your personal information.

They also added that all MTN promotions are announced on their official Social media pages and website: http://www.mtn.co.ug
Lastly, they encouraged people to follow their official pages for information about any if their promotion and other services. You can also report any cases of fake promotions or fraudsters.
