Logistics continues to play a huge role in the e-commerce industry ensuring essential products are delivered to consumers across the country and by expanding the Jumia logistics arm to include the local postal service, more consumers will be able to access a wider assortment of products.
What is Uganda Postal Service?
The Uganda Postal Service option offers you a cheaper shipping fee. The deliveries will be handled by the Ugandan local post office through their extensive network of postal delivery outlets down to sub-county level. The items shipped through Uganda postal shipping are shipped via the postal network to get you the most economical shipping charges.
Customers will still be able to place their orders via the Jumia app but will now have the option of postal delivery for Jumia Global items.
